Austin, TX – January 14, 2025 – Texas Housing Conservancy (TxHC) is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Twelve100, a premier multi-family property located in The Domain, Austin’s vibrant mixed-use neighborhood. This acquisition marks a significant milestone in TxHC’s efforts to preserve affordability for Austin’s workforce and was achieved through a collaborative partnership with Austin Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) and Civicap Partners, who are co-owners of the property.

The Twelve100 property offers residents unmatched access to major employers, public transit, and recreational opportunities. Located in one of the fastest-growing and most desirable areas of Austin, this acquisition ensures that essential workers and families can continue to live and thrive in a high-opportunity neighborhood.

“By acquiring Twelve100, we are securing a well-located property that allows us to preserve affordability in one of Austin’s most desirable neighborhoods. We remain committed to ensuring that our residents have access to quality housing that fosters community and stability,” said Monica Medina, President & CEO of Texas Housing Conservancy.

Austin Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC), a public nonprofit entity of the City of Austin, and Civicap Partners, a leading real estate investment firm focused on attainable housing, joined TxHC as co-owners in this acquisition. Their support and collaboration were integral to securing the property for long-term affordability, benefiting low- and moderate-income residents who are vital to Austin’s workforce.

“This acquisition is a testament to our ability to identify opportunities that align with our mission while delivering long-term value to the community,” said Jon Mendoza, Director of Acquisitions at Texas Housing Conservancy. “Twelve100 provides an incredible opportunity to ensure that essential members of Austin’s workforce can live near where they work, helping maintain the fabric of the city.”
